This is a collaboration project with Piattos, a snack brand from Indonesia. So, Piattos just launch their new flavour series called the Piattos World Series. It has two variants, carbonara and kimchi flavour so it's basically about Italy and Korea.
In this project, I need to create an illustration for an instagram quiz to promote this product. The idea of this quiz came from "Where's Waldo?". The illustration should be super crowded and detailed so it can hide the Waldo (in this case, the Piattos' packaging) very well.
SKETCH
Here in the very first sketch, the illustration ambience is still too quite. So, I added more people in my first revision. In the final sketch, They want me to removed some unnecessary details and changed it with more people.

disclaimer, the size of the building in my illustration looks smaller if you compare it with the one in real life. It's because I want to show the whole building and also maintaining the detail of every single people around it.
In the left I draw the colorful Cinque Terre and in the right is the famous Colosseum
